New Castle has been blessed to have some of the most dedicated people to guide our spiritual growth. Our pastoral staff are dedicated men that are guided by Jesus Christ, our Lord and savior, and truly love their flock. Please meet the leaders of New Castle.


Senior Pastor Troy Willey

Troy is our newest member to the pastoral staff.  He joined our other pastors in the summer of 2008.  Troy, his wife Ginny and their family moved to New Castle from Colorado and we are glad to have them.


Associate Pastor Philip Somers

Pastor and Ardie came from Michigan in 1985 to serve at New Castle. Their faithful ministry over the years has born its fruit in the lives of many families. As Pastor has taught us to know and follow our Lord, Ardie has led us to praise Him in music and song. Together they have nurtured New Castle Bible Church and made it family.

 

Executive Pastor Dennis Schlappi

Denny has been on the pastoral staff since 1987. He shares a vision for New Castle that is ever growing, yet solidly set on the foundations of God’s Word. His wife Karilyn teaches elementary school in Morton and shares her teaching skills in our Sunday school. She is often at work serving behind the scenes and is involved in mentoring other women.

Phil's Blog

Phil and Angee have led our Student Ministries since the fall of 1999. Their greatest passion and heart’s desire is to see young men and women come to know Christ and impact their world for the Savior. They continue to seek effective avenues for reaching youth as they lead our One Way ministry for high school students.

 

Associate Pastor Josh Gates

Josh and Penny Gates are partners in ministry as they direct our Crossroads outreach for junior high youth. Their work is one of building relationships and directing lives toward a growing faith in Christ. Josh has been a gift to New Castle since he began his ministry here in the summer of 2002.

 

Associate Pastor Ralph Bauer

Ralph Bauer joined the pastoral staff in January of 2003. He and his wife Lila are retired missionaries to Trinidad. Their ministry focuses on our seniors, as well as many other pastoral duties. Ralph’s missionary heart and ministry experience add depth to his teaching and compliment our pastoral staff. He is affectionately called, Brother B.
