Currently Awana clubs are active in more than 110 countries, reaching more than one million young people each week. All teachers involved with Awana at New Castle have been through KidSafe training. Who can attend Awana? Awana is for children ages 3 to 6th grade. When does Awana occur? Awana is held on Wednesday nights during the school year from 6:30 - 8:00pm. What do the children do at Awana?Each Awana session is divided into several segments. Some of the things that kids will do are: hear a Bible lesson, learn Bible verses, sing, and participate in a game time. Children will earn awards based on the work they do. Why should I send my child to Awana? Children who attend Awana will have fun while learning about God's Word. They will be encouraged to learn and apply Biblical principles in their lives.
