Helping the Son shine into our Kids!

"Sonshine Castle" provides care for children from birth to age three during each Sunday worship service, Wednesday evening, and all congregational events. At New Castle Bible Church our volunteers have been trained according to our KidSafe child protection policy. We share the love of Christ with each child from the first time he or she enters the nursery. Your child will learn of Christ’s love through the tender care and attention he or she receives. Children are precious to us, as they are to our Lord, and we seek through our service to be ministers of His love, as we care for them.

Infants and Crawler Room
Equipped with cribs, swings, a changing room, and other equipment designed to meet the needs of this age group. Jesus’ love is channeled to your child through tender care and nurturing.

Toddler Room
A safe place for those who are steady walkers up to three- years- old. Age appropriate toys and equipment provide a place for your child to interact with other children. With warm and individual attention, your child learns that he or she is special and important to our Heavenly Father.

First Time?
We ask that you fill out a registration card. This helps us get to know you and your child.

Checking In
A nursery supervisor will meet you at the welcome counter. They will ask for any special instructions, sign you in, and place the diaper bag, coat, or any other items in the designated area.

Security
The safety and security of your child is of primary concern to us. Your child will be given an “ID Bracelet” with a personalized number, and you will be given a “Parent Tag” to match. You, or the person you assign, to pick up the child, must bring this tag in order for us to release the child. As a courtesy to our caregivers you are asked to pick up your child immediately following the worship service or other event.

Pagers
Pagers are available to parents. If necessary, we will contact you to return to your child. Please hold or wear these during the time your child is with us. The pager will vibrate when calling. Please remember to return the pager when picking up your child.

What to Bring
Please include any items in your child’s bag and mark them with your child’s first and last name. Such items may be: Diapers, bottle, blanket, favorite toy

Snacks
Snacks such as Cheerios, crackers, or animal crackers may be served in the toddler room. For beverage we only serve water. Please inform us of any food allergies your child may have.
