UPDATE 12/30/2020

Sunday Morning Worship

Starting Sunday, January 10th, we plan to proceed with our Sunday morning worship in the following manner:

  • We will continue to offer onsite worship services at both 8:00am and 10:45am. Extra spacing will be provided in the Family Center, and we ask that you come prepared to follow our ushers’ instructions for greater physical distancing between family units and be eager to sit in a different spot than you normally prefer. Please note the 8:00am service is less crowded offering more seating options.
  • All onsite attendees are still encouraged to consider wearing a face covering in all common areas until seated in the Family Center. To be clear, this is not a requirement for anyone who desires to worship with us on Sunday mornings. We understand that face coverings can be a divisive issue among Christians and that many of our own people have strong preferences on this matter. We ask each of us to  please respect the decisions of one another while striving to maintain the unity of Christ’s body in the bond of peace.

  • Our “extra precautions” Chapel will remain available during both 8:00am and 10:45am services. This is a great worship option for those who prefer greater physical distancing and for face coverings to be worn at all times.

  • Livestreaming of both our 8:00am and 10:45am will remain available for those who still prefer to refrain from large, in-person gatherings. Visit http://www.myncbc.org, the NCBC Facebook page, or the NCBC YouTube channel to connect on Sunday mornings.

  • Beginning January 10th, all our 9:30am ministry programs will resume. This includes our Adult Discipleship Electives, as well as our Sunday School classes for both children and students (Those with children or students will receive further communication in the coming days on gathering procedures that will be observed).

  • All nursery and Children’s Church ministry will also resume on January 10th. We trust this will be a blessing to many families who desire to worship with our church on Sunday mornings.

Wednesday Night Ministry

Starting Wednesday, January 6th, both AWANA and Rooted Student Ministries will resume onsite ministry programming at New Castle. Communication on gathering procedures will be communicated to families in the coming days. Please be on the lookout for this information!

As always, thank you for your patience and prayers in this unique season of ministry. We ask that you continue both as we venture into 2021 together. By humbly depending on God’s grace together, we believe great things are in store for New Castle Bible Church.
