Calan began attending New Castle Bible Church with her family when she was just 6 years old. She experienced Awana, youth group, VBS, and many of the other ministries New Castle offered as she grew up. Calan is still very involved at New Castle, serving as a leader in Rooted Student Ministries and working part-time as the Communications Administrative Assistant.
Calan married Nick in 2019 and they have made a home in Deer Creek. She earned a degree in Social Science from Olivet University in 2019.
