Scott became a Christian in 1993, shortly after he began attending New Castle. He’s served in a number of ministries through the years, including AWANA leader, Men’s Ministry board, Life Group leader, Biblical Counseling, and Sunday School teacher. Scott is also a New Castle GO Partner, as he’s served on staff with the Greater Peoria Area Fellowship of Christian Athletes since 2015. Prior to that, he worked in the public school system for 36 years, with the last 23 of those spent at Dee-Mack High School as teacher, basketball coach, and athletic director. He and Teresa have been married since 1984, and are parents of married children Nick (Hannah), Matt (Kelsey), Kaleigh (Brendan).
