We are currently seeking a Director of Music Ministry to join our team.
Position Title: Director of Music Ministry
Job Type: Part-time, hourly (approximately 12-15 hours per week)
Job Description: The Director of Music Ministry provides specific leadership to the music ministry of the church. He is tasked with leading and directing all ministry teams associated with our corporate worship gatherings, most notably the praise band and audio/visual team. All aspects of his ministry should align with the New Castle Bible Church’s philosophy of music and worship.
As a ministry director, he is a deacon-qualified man who is called to work alongside the elders, staff pastors, and ministry staff to carry out the work of the ministry at New Castle Bible Church. He must be (or willing to be) a member of NCBC and must agree to uphold the church’s leadership affirmation of faith.
Ministry Roles: This role calls the Director of Music Ministry to provide leadership, development, and implementation for the following ministry areas:
- Praise Band (musicians and singers)
- Audio/Visual Team (sound, lyrics, projectionists)
- Livestream Ministry
- Song Selection
- Service Planning
- Volunteer Scheduling
- Other Duties as Determined by the Elders
Staff Report: The Director of Music Ministry will work under the oversight of the Pastor of Teaching and Leadership (PTL). He will work closely with the PTL to coordinate the weekly worship services of the church, as well as any special services that are scheduled.
