Calan began attending New Castle Bible Church with her family when she was just 4 years old. She experienced Awana, Rooted, VBS, and many of the other ministries New Castle offered as she grew up. Calan is still very involved at New Castle, serving as a leader in Rooted Student Ministries and working part-time as the Communications Administrative Assistant.
Calan married Nick in 2019 and they have made a home in Deer Creek. She earned a degree in Social Science from Olivet University in 2019 and works full-time for Samaritan Ministries International.
