Carmen Rassi took us into the difficult passages of Genesis 18:16–20:18 which reminds us just how honestly God speaks about the brokenness of our world and the messiness of our own hearts. He doesn’t gloss over sin, hide the ugliness, or pretend it isn’t there. Instead, He shows us the truth so we can see our need for Him clearly.
But thankfully, His grace is truly beyond measure! He gives grace that intervenes, rescues, corrects, and restores. A grace that’s bigger than our failures and far deeper than our understanding.
As we walked through the text together, we were reminded again that the God who sees every sin is the same God who draws near with mercy. And that is something worth praising Him for.
