Currently seeking a 1Way Kidz Director
Part-Time (20-25 hrs/week) April-July
The 1Way Kidz director is a part-time ministry position designed to give leadership to the 1 Way Kidz summer program for children in the Mackinaw community. The program director will work with the Village of Mackinaw to coordinate community awareness. The program director will also work closely with appropriate New Castle ministry staff to help carry out his/her responsibilities and objectives. The 1Way Kidz Director represents the church in the community, as well as in the interactions with church visitors, attendees and members.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Loves Jesus with growing commitment to doctrinal soundness, humble dependence, relational wholeness, and missional faithfulness
- Demonstrates ability to effectively communicate God’s Word and equip others to do the same
- Ability to effectively recruit, lead, and manage volunteers
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Manages multiple tasks simultaneously
- Communicates effectively verbally, and in writing
- Maintains effective working relationships with other people
- Maintains confidentiality and professionalism at all times
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the planning and implementation of 1Way Kidz in Mackinaw, IL
- Attend staff meetings during the summer for all church ministry staff
