Jamar became a Christian in 2012. He has served as a Pastoral intern at New Castle since 2021. He was raised in Peoria, IL and was married in 2022. Jamar graduated in 2013 from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL with a degree in Finance and is currently earning his M.Div. from The Master's Seminary through the Mentor Model.
