Jacob, the deceiver is deceived by his uncle and finds himself married to two sisters locked in rivalry. One is loved by Jacob and the other hated. God blesses one with children but closes the other's womb. This takes their jealousy to a new level as each sister then gives her servant to Jacob as well, making the family even more complicated. Even in the midst of this mess, God is faithful and continues to keep His promises, working through their messy sins.
