We can't manufacture or rush God's promises. God's plan will be accomplished by his hand, not ours, culminating in the redemption found in Jesus Christ.
Grief, for Christians, is met with honesty and a confident expectation of God's comfort, drawing strength from Jesus, our guide in sorrow and our source of unwavering grace.
The Lord has given us a meal both to remember his work and as a means of grace, therefore we should come hungry and ready to partake in it.
